Would you like to become a volunteer?
FCNLL has many opportunities for individuals to get involved with our programs and help support the youth of our community. Volunteer opportunities could include: Umpires | Managers and Coaches | Field Maintenance | Concession Stand Volunteer | Team Parent
Anyone who would like to volunteer for FCNLL must provide FCNLL with the appropriate documentation each season before their application can be reviewed for approval.
>>FIRST: All of the following requirements must be met:
- Sign up to 'volunteer' in Sports Connect. www.fcnll.com Select your volunteer 'role' and appropriate 'division'. (You may select more than one division - and you should in the event that your player would need to move divisions, i.e. Minors PP to Majors)
- Upload the applicant's current Driver's License
- Volunteer applicant must pass the background investigation. Click HERE to view the unacceptable crimes document.
- Complete the NFHS Concussion in Sports certification and upload the certificate. (Not required to volunteer in the Concession Stand or participate in Field Maintenance.)
- Complete the NFHS Protecting Students from Abuse Training and upload the certificate.
- Complete the Diamond Leader Training and upload the certificate. (One-time completion, and Not required to volunteer in the Concession Stand or participate in Field Maintenance.)
In order to be allocated to a team in Sports Connect, www.fcnll.com, you will have to sign up for a 'volunteer role' (manager, assistant coach, concessions, umpire, team parent, etc).
>>SECOND: Once the above steps are completed and the background check has cleared successfully:
- You will receive email notification that you are approved to participate in all league activities as a volunteer.
- Your name will be added to the 'Cleared Volunteers' list located on our website: Cleared Volunteers List
- You will receive a badge that must be worn on your person at all times while you are participating with FCNLL activities. YOU MUST WEAR YOUR BADGE AT ALL TIMES WHEN WORKING WITH PLAYERS. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
